Should you change your mind, you are welcome to return goods for a refund within 14 days from receipt of goods or exchange within 30 days from receipt of goods. Goods must be accompanied by proof of purchase, be in original purchase condition and include packaging. No "change of mind" returns on safety & climbing gear, underwear and clearance items. I bought my Whisperlite in 1989. Still going strong. I have changed the o-rings once in all that time. Simmering is a little difficult, but not too bad once you know the stove.

The stove is completely maintainable in the field - this, for me, was the clincher. Brilliant. (Posted on 16/01/12)

This is the workhorse stove. Easy to maintain. Priming the stove (heating the coil by lighting some fuel in the primer cup so that the fuel is vaporised) is quite simple and takes only a little practice. These stoves are known to last for decades. Great for boiling water for purification and cooking but lacks the ability to easily simmer. (Posted on 23/04/11)

- My Whisperlite Internationale 600 stove of over 20 years use is now getting blow-by through the pump plunger can I get a service/replacement kit for it with all the o-rings and seals ?

  Is it the 500 or 600 stove you have?? The 600 stove only came out 1996 so if it was bought before that it would be the 500 you have. Just because they have different seals etc? It is possible to get a replacement kit but if the pump is that old it would really be much good, you would be better off buying a brand new pump.$

  I have replaced the seals once but have over tightend the nut under the control valve which has split the plastic casing causing it to leak. Do you sell the pump seperately? If so how much does it cost?
