The Capilene® 3 Crew midweight provides excellent insulation and ultimate comfort next to the skin. The most versatile and fastest wicking of our performance baselayers, it stretches, dries quickly and resists wear. Brushed on the inside for warmth, Capilene 3 is soft and compressible, and the smooth jersey exterior glides smoothly under layers. Crew details include a self-fabric collar, raglan sleeves with underarm panels for mobility and smooth layering, and a tuckable hem. Made of a 5.4-oz Polartec® Power Dry® polyester (65% recycled) double knit with Gladiodor® odor control for the garment. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Should you change your mind, you are welcome to return goods for a refund within 14 days from receipt of goods or exchange within 30 days from receipt of goods. Goods must be accompanied by proof of purchase, be in original purchase condition and include packaging. No "change of mind" returns on safety & climbing gear, underwear and clearance items. - Looking for thermal tops and bottoms suitable for a trip to Antarctica next February.
- Hello Merilyn,
  
  the Patagonia Capilene are a fantastic thermal and i personally woulld recommend them for this trip. There is also a Capilene 4 in both the top and bottm which is ever warmer, if your a person who really feels the cold. If you live close to a store i would suggest coming in to try them on to see if they are for you.
