The Patagonia Kamala Covertible Skirt is versatile, travel-friendly, made from a lightweight 57% organic cotton/43% TENCEL® lyocell jersey fabric with a smooth, breeze-catching drape that rests easy over leggings, tights or suntanned skin. The wide, cinched, shirred waistband adjusts with ties on one side, and the asymmetrical A-line falls below the knee. Worn as a dress, the doubled waistband converts to a bandeau-style bodice with ties that secure behind the neck—for extra fun the asymmetrical hem of the dress falls to the knee in front, and below in back. Length (size M) is 30" waist to hem.

Wrinkle Resistant - TENCEL® is a branded lyocell fiber that comes from the pulp of trees that are grown on sustainably run farms certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
The eucalyptus wood pulp is dissolved in a non-toxic organic solvent. The solution is extruded through fine holes to produce fiber and the solvent is recycled in a closed-loop process – more than 99% of the solvent is recovered and reused. Patagonia ensure that the fabric processing of TENCEL® lyocell fiber does not utilise any harmful chemicals (like formaldehyde).
TENCEL lyocell is a high-tenacity cellulosic fiber, which gives high strength properties to the fabric which can then be used in place of other regenerated cellulose fibers such as viscose rayon.
Organic Cotton - In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilisers in growing conventional cotton, Patagonia began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of their cotton products.
The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.
To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.
