Scarpa's trekking and backpacking boots draw heavily on the prowess of our technical boots. The Scarpa R-Evolution Plus GTX adopts SCARPA Sock-Fit XT and memory foam for impeccable comfort, but more important, control and precision necessary for crossing exposed, rough terrain. Scarpa has collaborated with Vibram® to create the Fagus Lite sole, and the Driade women's specific sole which both feature a trek-specific pattern, adapted to a variety of surfaces. The midsole is molded EVA and to keep feet happy in wet conditions, we built in a GORE-TEX® liner for waterproof comfort.
