What is your torso length?

You will need: A soft measuring tape and a friend.

1. Tilt your head forward and feel for the bony bump where the slope of your shoulders meets your neck. This is your 7th cervical (or C7) vertebra—and the top of your torso length.

2. Next, find your Iliac Center. This is the point in the centre of your spine that aligns with the highest boney point on your hipbone.

3. Tilt your head back up and have your friend run the tape straight down your spine from your C7 until you reach your Iliac Center. 

This is your torso length. Check it twice to be sure! Use your torso length to determine your pack size looking at the size chart below.

 

What is your hip belt size?

You will need: A soft measuring tape.

To determine your hip belt size, measure around the hips at the iliac crest (the boney part of your hips), not the waist.

Note that only the hip belts of our bigger packs come in different sizes. Our other packs do come with a one-size-fit-all pelvic form hip belt. 

Aarn Hip Belt Size Guide:
Small: Between 64 cm - 80 cm 
Medium: Between 81 cm - 90 cm
Large: 91 cm - 100 cm
Extra Large: 101 cm - 120 cm

Lightweight, agile and ready for big kilometres, the Aarn Mountain Magic 50 PRO is a technical tramping pack built for thru-hikers, lightweight backpackers and multi-day walkers who want comfort without excess weight. Sitting at around 1kg for the pack body, it combines a slim trail profile with Aarn’s free-moving harness system to help reduce fatigue and keep the load feeling stable on varied terrain.

Included Aarn Balance Pockets Multi PRO add 7L of front storage, creating a balanced carry system while keeping snacks, water, navigation gear and daily essentials within easy reach. The U-Flow shoulder harness, lightweight Auto-Form hip belt and suspended mesh back panel work together to support natural movement, airflow and a more dialled-in fit. With a roll-top closure, large mesh storage, hydration compatibility and Lasso Loc options for extra compression or external carry, this pack is made for long trails where every gram and every step counts.
