Fortunately, the Beta Pant is designed to keep wearers dry when needed. The breathable, waterproof fabric allows body vapour to escape while preventing water from entering. In addition, ¾-length side zips offer added ventilation and make it easy to layer during unexpected storms.
Updated features: Now constructed with a PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE laminate for a reduced environmental footprint. A new low-profile bonded stretch waistband with an internal drawcord, a single thigh pocket, and ¾-length side zip provide improved comfort and freedom of movement. An updated lower-profile hem reinforcement enhances durability.
This product is free from intentionally added PFAS.
The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, yet equally strong and durable as previous materials. The face fabric may appear to “wet out” slightly more quickly in garments with ePE membranes; however, this does not affect the waterproof performance of the membrane. If the fabric begins to wet out more quickly than desired, washing and drying the garment will help remove oil contamination and restore the DWR to full effectiveness.
