Designed for long days in the alpine, the Black Diamond Distance 22 blends running-vest tech with a proper mountain pack layout. A vest-inspired suspension system and compression work together to reduce bounce, while BD SETT stitchless edge taping improves comfort and durability on the move. Storage is tuned for efficiency: secure Z-Pole sleeves built into the pack, a large stretch-woven front pocket for quick layer dumps, plus soft-flask pockets up front (flasks not included) and multiple shoulder, side and internal pockets—including a key-leash pocket for valuables. Dual piolet carry rounds it out for technical terrain.
