Designed for fast hiking and mountain missions, the Black Diamond Distance 8 delivers a streamlined 8-litre carry with a running-vest feel. Stretch mesh “wings” wrap from the backpanel around the sides for a secure fit, and Stitchless Edge Taping smooths contact points to reduce rubbing on long days. Storage is tuned for on-the-go access, with integrated Z-pole sleeves, two soft-flask holsters (flasks not included), plus shoulder strap pockets for snacks and small essentials. Dual side compression keeps the load tight, while side stash pockets, an internal zip pocket with key leash, and an ice axe/piolet carry add all-round versatility for technical terrain.
