Does Paddy Pallin sell kids hiking boots and shoes? 

Our range of adults footwear generally starts at size EU36, which is quite a small sizing. For young adventurers with even smaller feet, we also stock kids footwear in even smaller sizes. Such as the Scarpa Mistral Gore-Tex Boot Kids, with sizes from 28EU to 35EU. Like with all footwear, we recommend kids try-on the boots in-store. We also suggest sizing kids hiking footwear a little bigger than usual, to allow for both some toe-room and some extra space to grow!

Can I buy kids rain jackets and rain pants at Paddy Pallin?

Getting caught out in the rain without the right gear is never fun. We’ve got kids-sized waterproof jackets and waterproof pants from Sherpa, along with some quality Patagonia waterproofs jackets for boys and girls, which are even made from recycled materials!

What type of kids thermals does Paddy Pallin stock? 

No one likes being cold. Thermals are essential for keeping warm and safe in cold climates. We stock a selection of kids sized synthetic thermal tops and thermal bottoms from 360 Degrees. Whilst for the bigger kids, our smaller-sized adults' thermals might be a better option, we have a range of synthetic options along with merino Icebreaker thermals and base layers. 

Does Paddy Pallin stock kids hike backpacks?  

Much of extensive range of Osprey hiking backpacks are available in small and extra-small harness sizes, which are often perfect for kids. We also stock the Osprey Ace 50L Youth Backpack and Osprey Ace 75L Youth Backpack. These packs both feature highly adjustable harnesses, so the bag can grow as your child gets taller.
