The GEAR AID Seam Grip WP Sealant and Adhesive is a tent (jacket, pant & more) seam sealer that goes above and beyond to keep moisture out. Seal up to 3.65m of tents, tarps, and awnings with a single 28 g tube. As a permanent waterproof sealant, it keeps outdoor enthusiasts dry and comfortable. It’s also a flexible repair adhesive that can patch up holes in all types of fabric including vinyl, nylon and canvas. Is this product suitable to use on goretex jacket? The seam tape on mine is lifting.

This product can help repair the issue you are experiencing however, depending on how progressed the lifting is, this will not last longterm. Long term fixes would include having your jacket professionally repaired or replacing it.

What is meant by 'Storage: Store in bag in freezer'? Is that the bag that's been repaired or some other bag? How long does it need to stay in the freezer?

Once you've finished using the sealant:
- Wipe any excess sealant from the nozzle and replace the cap tightly.
- Place the sealed tube in a small airtight bag (such as a zip-lock bag) to help keep moisture away.
- Store the bagged tube in the freezer until the next time you need it.
The reason for freezing it is to greatly extend the shelf life by slowing the curing process inside the tube. It does not harm the adhesive.
