The Men's Arch Rock Pants are built to handle a full day on the trail. UPF 50 protects your skin from the sun, and a light but durable fabric means you’re cool in the shade. Articulated knees and a crotch gusset mean they'll hold up on serious climbs, and the PFC-free coating will keep you dry when the deluge hits.

Hi, the Marmot Arch Rock Pants Inseam 30" Men's does not list it as having a DWR coating. Were you thinking of another pair of pants?
The DWR finish is a coating that is applied to the outside of the garment. It will limit light amounts of water from being absorbed by the pants. It does not make the pants water proof and over time will wear off.
