Its larger expedition fit allows room to wear down layers or booties inside the bag when temperatures plunge, while still keeping insulation close enough to hold warmth efficiently.

Packed with 900+ loft RDS-certified premium duck down, the Expedition XT 8000 delivers exceptional warmth and compressibility for demanding cold-weather objectives. The 12D 2-layer Hydronaute XT™ shell helps protect the down from exterior moisture while allowing internal vapour to escape, and the vertical and radial arc baffle system helps keep insulation locked in place. A down-filled hood, oversized box foot, interlocking draught tubes and Mont’s Cordless Collar System all work together to reduce heat loss when conditions are properly severe.
