About The Store

Although our store is not the largest in the Paddy Pallin group, we are very happy to provide you with a brand new store and convenient and easy store layout. We offer a full range of quality outdoor and travel clothing, footwear and equipment. The staff consists of a group of dedicated bushwalkers, rockclimbers and travellers, who are really passionate about travel and the outdoors and the products we stock. We pride ourselves on quality of service and the amount of time we have for our customers.

Meet The Team

Sean | Store Manager

From hiking the Larapinta Trail to the Stubai High Route in Austrian Tyrol, Sean has gained some invaluable outdoor knowledge over the years. Always bringing a toasty warm Western Mountaineering sleeping bag and a good sense of humour, Sean knows what essentials are needed to have a good time out in the bush. If you are ever planning an upcoming trip, swing past the Fortitude Valley store and Sean can help you perfect your kit for the next adventure.

Sophie | Sales Assistant

Sophie loves nothing more than a long hike and a good read. Whether it’s the Overland Track, Walls of Jerusalem, or Te Araroa - Sophie spends her days tackling wild and beautiful trails and her evenings relaxing with a good book and a cup of tea in front of her cosy second home - her Mont Moondance tent. Sophie likes to keep her pack light, but always makes sure to invest in the right shoes or boots. After all, it’s your feet that are taking you places so it pays to be nice to them.

Greg | Assistant Manager

Greg has an extensive range of knowledge in gear and adapting to the outdoors. He has had the opportunity to travel to some of the least-visited destinations around the world. Day to day he provides his expertise and assists customers with gear solutions for their upcoming treks … Anything tech related, he's your go to guy.
