Would these be ok for Everest Base Camp in Jan ? Temp down to -20 want warmth but breathable as well so sweating doesn’t get me cold

They would be good as part of a layering system with a softshell pant over the top.

Would these be good for kayaking in Antarctica? We have to take two pairs of pile or fleece pants. Would these be suitable?
