What is it ?
FusionDri’’s is a highly breathability, extremely waterproof 3 layer fabric with a wicking lining for comfort. Its unique attributes comes from the combination of three specialized components. The 15 denier False Twisted stretch Face fabric is laminated to a very thin (12 –– 15 microns) highly breathable membrane and a super light 30 denier Bi –– Component circular knit wicking mesh.

The hydrophilic monolithic membrane is made using a new chemistry resulting in higher porosity in the membrane. To limit the loss of breathability caused by laminating the three components together, they are combined together using a brand new lamination process that reduces the amount of adhesive necessary to bond them into a single fabric.

How does it work ?
MemBrain FusionDri uses our exclusive DriClime Mesh bonded to a highly breathable PU membrane. The DriClime Mesh has superior 3 dimensional wicking. It  moves moisture from the inside of the fabric via capillary action to the Hydrophilic PU membrane where the moisture is transported through the membrane and away from your skin.

What are the benefits of this technology?
This technology increases the interior comfort of the garment by enabling the wearer to feel less clammy and more comfortable over a wide range of temperatures and conditions. It greatly reduces the condensation and sticky clammy feeling typically of many waterproof / breathable garments. The wicking mesh lining prevents condensation from collecting on the skin no matter what the level of activity due to the 3 dimensional structure of the mesh. The mesh also helps increases the moisture transfer through the membrane by spreading the moisture over a larger surface area maximizing the efciency of the Hydrophilic membrane to transport moisture through it. This technology solves the problem of condensation and internal comfort that even the most breathable of fabrics have problems with during high intensity activities.
