Meet The Team

Tej | Store Manager
Tej is one of Paddy Pallin Melbourne's most experienced members and has been with the company for over 19 years. Having spent 9 years leading and organising treks throughout Nepal, Tej has plenty of knowledge to share with anybody planning an upcoming hiking trip. Tej loves nothing more than hearing the amazing stories from customers he has helped prepare for their dream holiday.

Tim | Partnerships and Activities Coordinator VIC
Tim has been a valued team member at Paddy Pallin in Melbourne for over two years, bringing his passion for the outdoors and a wealth of unique experiences to the role. His favorite hike is the challenging Mt Roland Face Track in North-Western Tasmania, a steep ascent that rewards adventurers with stunning views from the ocean to Cradle Mountain and beyond. Tim also loves macro photography, capturing the intricate beauty of nature. Whether it's trekking through rainforests in search of rare fungi or exploring caves for endemic fauna, Tim's dedication to documenting the tiny wonders of our world is truly inspiring. As our Partnerships and Activities Coordinator for Victoria, he's always searching for ways to educate and equip others to make the most of their adventures.

Ramesh | Supervisor
Ramesh has been working at Paddy Pallin in Melbourne for more than seven years. Before then, he lived and worked in Nepal as a trekking guide for over 10 years, leading treks in iconic locations such as Everest Base Camp, the Annapurnas, Tibet and Chitwan. As a senior guide, he was also responsible for mentoring colleagues, porters, cooks and yak herders. In 2015, Ramesh moved to Melbourne where he has experienced camping at Wilson’s Prom, Mt Kosciuszko, Mt Buller/Stirling and the Great Ocean Road. Having trekked through all conditions (including Melbourne’s 4-seasons-in-a-day), Ramesh can help you to find the best boots, tent, clothing and other equipment for your next adventure.

Nikita | Gear Consultant
Nikita has worked at Paddy Pallin for 2 years and brings a broad range of outdoor activity experience to the team. She enjoys hiking, rock climbing, skiing, canyoning, and trail running. Her most niche activity is rogaining, where she regularly participates in 6 and 12-hour events, which has given her a soft spot for maps. Nikita's favourite part of Australia is the Victorian alpine region. She has spent much time there in all seasons and is always captivated by the beauty of the stars and the landscape, no matter the season.
