Arc'teryx Purchasing Limits

We love Arc’teryx as much as you do.

Arc’teryx produces incredible outdoor performance gear, and we love helping people get kitted out to take it on the trail. We hope that your Arc’teryx gear is performing well and giving you protection and comfort on your outdoor adventures.

Arc’teryx fans may be aware of the prevalence of individuals who are purchasing Arc’teryx items frequently or in multiple quantities, with the intent to resell. As a result of this, in collaboration with Arc’teryx Australia and International, there are now limitations on the purchasing of Arc’teryx gear in Australian retail stores and online.

Commercial on-selling is harming the experience of customers purchasing Arc’teryx for personal use in Australia. Therefore, the availability of Arc’teryx gear is now limited to personal use primarily. Individual or repeated transactions deemed of commercial quantity will be referred to our commercial sales coordinators or potentially refunded in the case of online purchases.  

But don’t worry. If you are buying Arc’teryx for personal use (or even as a gift), it is likely that you won’t encounter any problems with your purchases. A purchase is considered commercial when a customer buys two items of a single style, exclusive of gender and inclusive of colour, within the same calendar month. For example, the purchase of 2 x Women’s Atom LT Hoody + 2 x Men’s Atom LT Hoody is considered personal use, but the purchase of 2 x Men’s Atom LT Hoody in Black + 2x Men’s Atom LT Hoody in Kingfisher is considered a commercial quantity. Moreover, the purchase is considered commercial when the customer has demonstrated a pattern of this shopping behaviour.
