Does Paddy’s stock water sandals?

Yes! All the men’s Teva sandals we stock at Paddy’s can be worn as water sandals as well as on land. Durable and quick drying, they make perfect beach sandals, river crossing shoes, or sandals for paddling. As well as providing great protection from sharp shells and rocks, many of the models are made with Vibram rubber soles and are designed to stay grippy even in wet conditions.

Are sandals good for travel?

Yes! At Paddy’s we stock a range of excellent men’s sandals for travel. While flip flops (aka thongs or jandals) have long been a favourite for backpackers, Teva sandals are similarly lightweight and quick drying but provide far more support when walking around for the day. How do select the best walking sandals for men?

How do you choose between walking sandals, hiking shoes and men’s hiking boots? The quick answer is that the best walking sandals have a shock absorber in the heels for maximum comfort, the best men’s hiking shoes have cushioned support under your feet and offer protection for your foot, whilst the best hiking boots have additional protection and support for your ankle. You will find that sandals are best for the beach, casual walking or short hikes. Men’s hiking shoes are ideal for casual hikes on low to medium terrains, and the best hiking boots are perfect for rugged trails or for when you are carrying a heavy backpack. It is a good idea to opt for a pair of sandals, hiking shoes and boots (one of the best hiking boots are Scarpa hiking boots), as this way you have all the hiking gear you need for every trail. If you are not sure what you need, start with a pair of good hiking shoes and walking sandals and add hiking boots later, if you take on rough terrain.

What’s your return policy?

Paddy’s offers a 90 day change of mind return policy on footwear, as long as they’re in as-new condition with proof of purchase. This means you’ll have plenty of time to wear your new sandals inside the house to make sure the fit is right for you. Unfortunately shoes that have been worn outside or are no longer in original condition cannot be returned except under warranty.
