Edelrid Eddy Belay Device
The Edelrid Eddy is an easy to use belay device known and liked for its safety. It is semiautomatic and predominantly for sport and indoor climbing. The device enables a controlled descent with an emergency break system which eliminates the 'panic pull' which can lead to serious accidents. The rope follows logically the rope flow which makes it easy to thread even for beginners. The Eddy is suitable for both top rope and lead climbing offering easy paying out of rope. Can be used for single ropes with diameters from 9 - 11 mm.
