Are the X Ultra 360 Leather GORE-TEX Mid Hiking Boots Men's PFAS Free? and what store in NSW or SA has them available?

Hi, while Salamon have not published this information, PFAS are used to help water bead of the outside of garments. As the GoreTex membrane is inside the shoe there is no need for this treatment. These shoes are available online and in our NSW locations but are not being ranged in our Adelaide store.

The Salomon X Ultra 360 Leather GORE-TEX Mid Hiking Boots (Men’s) use a PFC-free water-repellent treatment, meaning no long-chain fluorinated chemicals are intentionally used. However, the GORE-TEX membrane itself may still contain fluoropolymers, so the boots cannot be confirmed as completely PFAS-free.
